During the calendar school year, students will use a variety of mediums including watercolors, pastels, acrylics, air dry clay, color pencils and more. With these mediums, they perform many processes such as painting, drawing, sculpting, and collage.

Fun Day’s Everyday – Daily Art Camps – May 17th – May 31st, 2024

Artsy Rose Fun Day Art Camps are sure to please! To accommodate all the different school schedules ending at different times in May we have made these Fun Day Art camps available to enroll in daily or enroll for multiple days. Students will create 2 to 3 art projects using various mediums. These Daily art camps are for 5-13 year old kids. A few examples of projects are things like painting, drawings, collage and more. The rest of the day we may play games, such as outdoor, indoor, board, and Wii. Some other fun possibilities are playing cards, making crafts or watching a movie! Every Fun Day we offer is different and will include a variety of fun-filled activities for kids in the Oklahoma City metro area. Please bring a sack lunch, snack, and a refillable water bottle.

Class Title: Fun Day’s Everyday – Daily Art Camps – May 17th – May 31st, 2024

Time: 9:00 am – 4:00 pm (7 hour day)
Childcare: Before & after childcare available (See Rosie’s Roundup)
Date: May 17th, 20th-24th & 28th-31st
Age: 5 to 13yrs
Price: $59 per student/day Register
*** Drop off is 9am and pickup is 4pm unless you decide to get Rosie’s Roundup. Don’t forget to pack a lunch and snack along with a refillable water bottle.***
Art helps kids learn and develop important characteristics they will need as adults such as confidence, perseverance, decision making, focus, and accountability. There is a correlation between art and other achievements. PBS says, “Studies show that young people who participate regularly in the arts are four times more likely to be recognized for academic achievement, to participate in a math and science fair or to win an award for writing an essay or poem than children who do not participate.”
